The 1986 version of the Nihilistics, with original member Mike still on bass joined by Paul Bearer on vocals, Jon Page on guitar and Jon 'Wrecking Machine' on drums.
Paul was replaced by Joe for a couple of shows played as the Nihilistics, then Wrecking Machine was replaced by Billy Psycho and the band changed its name to the Prophets of Doom which lasted a couple of shows into early 1987. After this, Mike, Billy Psycho and Brian started practicing - Billy left and Wrecking Machine returned - the band named itself Burden of Proof - Mark Adams (pre-In Your Face) sang for a couple of practices (which exist on an old cassette) - then Pete 'Sketch' came in on vocals and that lineup recorded the 12" in early 1988. And then it all fell apart, and Mike got back together with Ron and a couple of new guys and the Nihilistics were back and continue to this day. -Burden Of Proof facebook page
